Life update
All of last year, I listened to the Bancroft brother’s animation podcast. This podcast might be the most inspirational thing that has happened to me in recent years. I never knew I wanted to animate, but I now spend most of my free time looking at improving my drawings and ultimately starting to animate. I have my first script and storyboard ready for a film that will be a few minutes long. Knowing that this time creating alone lies ahead of me gives me endless joy. I feel like a five-year-old – in my opinion, a state of mind I’d love to stay in forever.
One of the greatest things about being born in this generation is that the pressure to do only one thing for the remainder of your life is no longer relevant. With endless off- and online courses and tutorials available, we have the opportunity to learn and grow in various fields throughout our life. I don’t see why we shouldn’t take advantage of this opportunity. It is less important whether the learning is for a new career or merely for pleasure.
